Review of Two Pictures

This picture is trying to tell people of the devastation of Hurricane Ike. The water levels rose so high that the streets flooded and people were forced to leave their homes. In addition, in this picture there are two stop signs; on in the front and one in the far back. The difference in the size of the two stop signs gives an illusion of depth/length of the street. There is also a “v” formation created by the trees.

This picture is from the play “Westside Story”. It is a picture of two characters running through the streets holding hands. Their facial expressions show that they are not upset of scared, rather that they are enjoying each others’ company. Also, since the woman is running in front of the man, there is the allusion of depth. The woman’s arm in front shows even more depth within the picture.
